I can't breathe!
So here it is on I don't remember what week, but allergies have hit. I am So stuffed up i can barely breathe at all. I have been taking some over the counter meds to see if that will help clear it up, but to no avail, I might have to go see a Dr. about it this time. UGH! I hate feeling like my head is about to fly away and the pressure is amazing. So b/c I can barely breathe I haven't ran. It's hard to run when you can't get enough oxygen to the brain.

Week Two
Well, I made it half way through. We had a family emergency come up on Wednesday. I ran that day, but Thursday came and went without a wkout and Saturday came and went b/c we were getting ready for Easter and all the festivities that we were involved in. I started to day fresh with a do-over from last week. I didn't earn the right to move forward in my training so I stayed on week 2 another week. This week looks promising.

This week
I ran on Sat 1.25 miles in 22:26 min. Today I ran 1.25 miles in 21:11 min. I can feel myself getting stronger and it feels great! I am doing a walk/run method and it seems to be wking better for me than just running straight. I feel better and I sweat more. This week it has been a little harder to start wking out but once I get going it is easier to keep going.

One week down...
I did it! I finished a whole week of exercising regularly, which is a grand feet in itself right now. I feel great and have remembered some important lessons. I'll only share one for now, it is the idea the getting up at 7am every morning, regardless how tired I am or how bad I may have slept the night before is painfully hard but AMAZINGLY worth it. I have a accomplished something small, minuscule by others standards. Does that matter to me? No, I am proud of the first week I have finished and look forward to the next week that I have to accomplish another goal. I have learned I need to take it a day at a time and that allows me to get a week in at a time and then soon it will be a month and hopeful in the end it will be a lifetime. That is where I am now. If you are just starting this process or have been trying to restart it good luck and don't give up on yourself, you ARE worth it, and even though you may not feel it at times, you ARE beautiful!
