The second
Well, I've made it two days in a row with running again and doing Pilate's. I have to say that before going to bed last night my abs hurt like they haven't since who knows when. It was a great feeling and hopefully it means some slimming will occur as a result. After I had Kaily my abs were tired and I never really got them back into shape before getting preg. with Conner. After he came out it was VERY apparent that I needed some serious work in that area. Now that I'm tired of the pooch on my waist and the tire around the belly it's time to do some serious work.

Again...
"Starting over" seems to be playing over and over again. I'm not even going to try to excuse myself for what I have NOT done. The goal to run in the SLC half-marathon is gone, for a few reasons...the biggest though is simple I haven't done really anything since I came home from Florida. So, this morning after I took Clint to school at 5 am I came home with the intent on going back to sleep, but that didn't happen. For a few weeks now I have felt my stomach getting bigger and bigger, and my body getting weaker and more tired looking. Now, for those of you who have been in this same situation you know that your body may not be changing all that much, but your self image is. When I think about it, what you think about yourself is more important than what you actually may look like. I know from experience that if you think your self thin than you will be, the power of thought is amazing. So, as I lay there in my bed my self talk starts going and I can't keep it quiet any longer. I go up and ran/walked for 20 min and then did Pilate's for 20 min. It wasn't much, but it's a start and, hopefully, the beginning of something great. I'm still planning on running the RAGNAR and we'll see what happens after that. I may run a few 5k's, but we'll see.
